This photo is the work of one of our creatives on b-uncut, Matt Blum. It’s called The Expanse and it was taken at Lake Superior in Minnesota. We love the different kinds of stillness in the photo. The water’s perfectly still, but it can’t stay so for long. And the rocks look ready to fall. There’s a tension to the perfection. These are Blum’s thoughts:

“This photo is very special to me, I spent the surprisingly warm weekend along the shoreline with my sons and a few friends. What was to be a relaxing weekend, turned into a soul search for me, longing for some inspiration and direction. The balancing of these rocks required a great deal of concentration and “letting go” because of their smoothness, shape and the continuous wind. As I looked at our creations, I realized that we had just visually expressed that which I was feeling…”Where do I go from here?”
