How much do you spend on a phone?
Though it might sometimes feel like your phone is costing you thousands of pounds it’s unlikely that it is. Unless you’ve bought the Celsius X VI II LeDix of course, in which case you’ve spent £300,000 on just the phone. I expect you’d remember the purchase,
but perhaps what it was called (it hardly rolls off the tongue). Although the name is complex, and unnecessary, it’s not the most complicated aspect of the the Celsius. This would have to be the watch in the front, created because the owner was tired of having to turn his phone off on flights and deny himself the ability to clock watch. But where most of us simply put up with such a minor inconveniences others are galvanised to action and so the creation of the Celsius was created (after four years of research and development).

Carved from a single block of titanium, the Celsius contains a mircomechanical attention to detail. What this means is that they spent more time on the clock than the phone, it doesn’t have 3G and despite the flash design is actually quite basic. When you can pop to the shops and pick up a phone for the fraction of a price, and one which does an unbelievable amount more, it’s hard to see why anyone would pay this much for a phone. Perhaps why only 18 of them were released?

The manufacturers hope to be able to produce a phone that is completely clockwork in the near future, but based on the success of this one I’d advise them to hold off. You know you’re in trouble when the top listed feature of your phone is the number of moving parts in the clock.
